Their story:
These just about to be 3 year old tri-colour sisters were reluctantly surrendered by their owner as he had decided to return to his home overseas. He had intended to take them with him but the plans did not work out. They are lovely natured & have grown up with children so will make ideal family pets.

Notes from Pixie & Trixie's new family: 13 April 2012       Hi Monique, just wanted to send you an update on our beautiful girls, together with some recent photos. Trixie and Pixie are settling in really well to our home environment. I think they are training us much more than we training them. We are discovering that they are quite different in personality, and very much connected to each other. They are just wonderful and we feel so lucky to have them. Our whole extended family loves them and they are being very spoilt. Pixie particularly has become quite territorial and does not take well to anyone strange coming in or another dog even walking past, until she sees that they are our friends, and therefore her friends. Neither of them have made any attempt to leave the yard, which is good. We are planning to bring them along to the walk on April 29th, weather permitting. I'm sure they will be very excited to see you and hopefully some of their friends. Could you please pass these photos on to their original owner, and assure him that they are being well cared for and much loved, and I have every reason to think that they are very happy. I will contact you after Easter to discuss permanent ownership, as we would love to keep them. Looking forward to seeing you again soon. Cathy and Selwyn
