LUIGI [Aged 3 years]

His story:
Luigi is a 3 year old tri-colour boy who was rescued from Port Stephens Animal Shelter where he had been impounded but not reclaimed by his owners. His microchip details were no longer valid so his owner could not be contacted.

Notes from Luigi's new family: 1 December 2011 ....Luigi is the foster beagle who arrived but never left - it became his "forever" home!  Luigi is such a special beagle with loads of personality - he prefers to sleep on top of his kennel rather than inside it and if he does something naughty such as hiding our shoes, he gives himself up by walking towards us with his head hung in shame. He constantly has us laughing. He's an amazing guard dog and is very protective of us, and we've recently found out he is a master of 'fetch'. He is great mates with his 13 year old arthritic beagle brother and despite Luigi being twice his size, he knows to play very gently with him. We feel so fortunate to have found this delightful, affectionate little character. We don't know how anyone could have let him go, but their loss is our gain!
